What mods are planned?
Nice w a carbie project, maybe I can contribute something, been awhile...

Complete overhaul. Frame touched up/reinforced and painted. Check all connections and seals when putting everything back on. Clean up wires, new led lights. Full cleaning. Carb cleaning. New exhaust system. Seat recovered. Plus all routine maintenance, oil change, spark plugs, valve check and timing belt (to be done by my mechanic, I don't know enough yet to do that myself).

I used to work for/with a guy that did a bunch of R&D for the original Rokon bikes back in the 70's.

Time flies.
That's awesome. Do you remember his name? My dad probably knows him. My dad is Kevin Stone out of Sanford. Does a lot of benefit rides with Chip Austin.

Frank Camillieri...he was the service manager at Boston Cycles, as well as a respected tool and die maker. He also made the very first die for the Head aluminum tennis racket extrusions. They were duplicated by Elox EDM machines. He's still involved in bikes, and racing. I saw him last year at a USCRA vintage race.

The Rokons he was involved with were more conventional looking.

10 hours of work, and it's starting to look like a bike again. Still a long ways to go, and the wiring harness placement is screwing with me. But I'm happy with where I left it...

Nice and for some reason I thought the frame was red, not pink.

Thanks guys!
I love the pink. Will match the Ducati logo on my flat black tank.
I think maybe next winter I'll do the wheels black.
