So I was in vip red bull with my g/f and the funniest thing happened... there was TomKat sighting. And oddly enough, it was cool to see him and he gets kuddos for being a race fan. My g/f went nuts! She absolutely loves Tom Cruise and got to talk to him about the race - he was talking her ear off and I couldn't manage to got a good front shot with them. The one shot was as they were leaving and it came out IZ_ unfortunately    I tried to mess w/it in Photoshop, but it came out gritty.

We were there all three days and its was super cool. We saw some ama riders down in the paddock; we saw actors down there and in the redbull vip. The race was bad-ass and totally thrilling . In the turn 11 grandstands I was amidst a sea of Rossi fans. I was rooting for Stoner and even though Stoner didn't win, I was happy to see Rossi take it because I love him too!

One highlight, and I really wish I had caught this on film, was seeing Christian Pfeiffer doing his stunts in the Red Bull courtyard. He was doing all his crazy stopp-ee spins, burnouts -- completely UNREAL tricks -- in a circle of people maybe 35ft across. I seriously thought my heart was gonna stop seeing him hold a stoppee, spinning like a balerina while his back wheel was whipping by people's faces only a couple feet away. It was terrifyingly cool -but that's just me and my self-preservation talking.

Even though I'm rooting for Ben, it was still cool to get a shot with Mladin. I have lots of respect of him -he's a tremendous racer.

All in all we had a great time and the ride back with Dan and Maria was awesome. Next year I'm bringing my video cam everywhere and I need to get a better camera that doesn't take IZ_ pics. I probably saw people from the board who I haven't met yet. It's just crazy out there, especially on sunday. I'm going to the next meet with my new 696 so hopefully I'll get to know more of y'all then.
