You SLO people really piss me off. For one reason and one reason only: envy. I graduated from Cal Poly almost 4 years ago and moved to Merced for my job. And I regret every minute of it. So if I can give you one piece of advice, it would be to never leave. If you are still in college, stay in college. If you are fortunate enough to be able to afford to live in SLO, don't ever move. You have a perfect thing going for you. You may be living off of Ramen and Natty Ice, but everything else is a positive.

Reason 1: Location
Reason 2: Replenishing supply of 18 year old hot chicks. The older you get, the freshmen always stay the same age!
Reason 3: Firestone's, Gus's, High St. Deli, Woodstocks, Nucci's, TA's, Splash, DTB . . . .
Reason 4: Weather
Reason 5: Refer to Reason 2, but now they are poolside.
Reason 6: Keep referencing Reason 2, but in different scenarios.

So whenever you think about leaving, just think about what Billy Madison said: "Don't you say that. Don't you ever say that. Stay here. Stay here as long as you can. For the love of God, cherish it. You have to cherish it."

So of course you are welcome here. Just try to keep your love for SLO on the DL. Otherwise I start to get moody.

I concur with everything stated above.  I graduated in '88 and it has taken me 17 years to get back here and I aint leaving again.  Great place to ride road bikes for sure.  Let me know when your in town and we will hit up Gus's.  be::
