 Installing Performance ECU
Ducati Monster S4R 2008 x2

Would like to know about installing a performance ECU
on a 2007/8 S4R Testerretta I have changed the stock slippons for some carbon Termi’s
off a 11oo monster evo that I had lying around. Started straight up and runs ok with stock ecu and unmodified airbox. Its got abit of a back fire when coasting and occasional misfire when you first hit the throttle. But surprisingly rideable as is.  I have a performance ECU on another S4R and want to put that on to hopefully rectify issues...But I don’t have the Red Key for my new S4R. Was hoping to get some insight on this procedure.

If you send it to SOS diagnostics Oregon, I think they get red keys made.

As long as the performance ECU was never officially registered to the bike it's on now the swap should be doable .  You do want to get your TPS reset if you change ecu's, exhaust, ect...

Or flash it to get rid of the immobilizer.
