"However, tests performed by radar detector sellers and an independent testing body have found that the Spectre scanners are useless at detecting at least two models, the Beltronics STI Driver and the newer Escort Passport 9500ci, which are freely available to buy in Australia.

The Escort 9500ci is based on the same design as the Beltronics model but includes a built-in police laser jammer."

Bel STi XR - 100% Undetectable Radar Detector "AU/NZ"
The Bel STi XR radar detector further advances the Beltronics reputation with it's revolutionary TotalShield Technology.  TotalShield is an industry first as it makes the Bel STi XR 100% undetectable to any type of Radar Detector Detector.  Not only is it unseen by the current Spectre III RDDs, it will be undetectable by future threats.

the escort may not be detected by the spectre, but jamming their radar will ruffle their feathers and get them mighty pissed off!! Roll Eyes (not, that that's a _bad_ thing Grin  ) i'm thinking i'll spend my tax return on one of the bel STI's.

Where do I fit it on my bike though  cheeky cheeky
Don't really need to go that fast in the car, I'd rather spend the money on the bike.
