Found a good deal. I hope & thought one of you may know the prev owner or any history of this 98 M900 I just picked up. I’m keepng my other ‘98 (which I bought off here 9-10 yrs ago). Not sure if ill keep, trade , or sell parts on this new one yet. Still “cleaning it up”. I hope to keep it on the road either way.

i bought it in the Columbia SC area a few weeks ago, but the previous owner had it veey briefly-68 miles - & got it from a widow whose hubby had it & passed & she was in Greeneville SC, USA.

tons of Roadracing & old upgrade parts- all aluminium—-tank, dash, fenders, sidecovers, front fairing, kickstand, steering dampner?, pegs? , * Marvic Penta cast mag wheels, fcr41s, etc.    Showing 50k miles. Lived on a dirt & sand road.
I have no history on it.  New belts and oil 1st . Last pic is of my other regular m900.

What are these wheels?

These gold wheels are stamped HI-POINT and DOT.   They are forged aluminum, 6" rear, and super straight. I understand from 1995-2000 Hi-Point wheels were made & imported to the USA.  They helped perfect forged aluminum wheel mfg. After around 2000 the company was renamed to Carrozzeria. My research shows the company was started by a Japanese Engineer who worked for a few Jap. mfrs.   PVM makes/ made a very similar wheel.
Sorry about the upside down pics. I can't seem to fix it when they're from tinypic.

I've seen a number of fuel filters like that one that kink at the small end when they get hot.
Makes me nervous.
