speaking of painting (HIJACK!), do you guys in sydney have someone you recommend for painting rims? I am thinking of changing my white rims to either black or gold.... I know if I go gold there will need to be some other gold accents.
rough price from those who have had it done? flywheels quoted about 600 ride in and out
Hey Kurssed I have the same problem with the white wheels. Which colour would match??
I was thinking of the charcoal colour. There is a powder coater down here in Wollongong that Monster Micks mate used. He was charged less than $50 a wheel!
As for painting there is a place in Russel Vale down here called 'TWO WHEELS' motorcycle painting. Ron from Flywheels uses him all the time and they have painted bikes that have been in Rapid bike.
Worth the trip!
Paul, I feel for ya mate there is nothing worse than putting a scatch on you bike by trying to do the right thing only to F#*% it up.
I feel the clear coat on the plastic tanks is very soft, must be to allow the plastic to expand & contract in the sun.

figured you would like that vince, i'm guessing the pic is your bike??
i tell ya, i'm going stir crazy already!!!! i've got the pipes off being repacked, i've ordered a rear reflector and i've just got a tubular rego label holder cos i got done last week. the colour change is gonna help keep the fuzz off my back along with the other little additions i was politely asked to fix.
