Monster 659 Starting

Hi All,

I bought a brand new Monster 659 a couple of months ago, its awesome (Of course it is, its a Monster), I have noticed that it doesn't start the same all the time. Sometimes it starts first time no worries and then others it takes some time cranking up to 6 times and then I turn it off and back on and then again. The temp has been the same during the day when I ride so it's not because its cold, however once its warm it starts no worries Is anyone else having this issues? Any advice would be appriciated.

Hmmm...659?  LAMS bike, so we don't get them here.  Still under warranty?  Does the bike have a fast idle lever?

Hi Howie,

Yes still under warranty, and no fast idle lever. It’s due for its first service at 1000kms so I’ll let them know about it.
