Amazing how they hated it and he's kicking their arses. Interesting how 1/4 is fast throughout the race while Rossi fades and Mav takes a few laps to get going.

Yamaha should give Fabio that 500rpm's they're holding back & let him beat MM the rest of the year.

I keep wondering if MM will switch manufacturers to show he can win on other bikes as riders have done in the past. It seams Honda has developed a bike that only he can ride at this point, similar to what happened to Ducati with Stoner.
Hopefully Quateraro will not have problems adapting to other bikes like Zarco did, it does not seem like a factory Yamaha ride will open up in the next few years & he is showing that he should be on a factory bike.
MM doesn't need to change to any other manufacturer. The title of GOAT is subjective. Who is he going to win over? Rossi fans? That's never going to happen. In the 2-stroke era this might have been the case, it was important for Stoner, Rossi and JLo. MM is being showered by the deepest pocket in MotoGP. I would never leave them as long as they're producing a bike I could win on. MM is to Honda as Rossi is to Yamaha, and MM will learn from other's mistakes.
Fabio will get a full spec bike next year. I believe he's also going to be smart and learn from Zarco's disaster. He's young and probably realizes that he's being groomed to be Rossi's eventual replacement. Rossi has not been very competitive the past couple of years. The offseason will probably tell him if he's up for another few years of mediocre results while watching Fabio become the new golden boy. If not, then I can see Yamaha making the huge mistake of replacing MV.

He already got the rpm. He used it at Buriram.

I saw an interview with Marquez where he stated he had no intentions of leaving Honda.
Thinks change, for sure, but as long as they give him a bike he can win on, and pay him handsomely...why take a side-wards move?

Regarding 1/4's bike, anyone know what the other potential upgrades could be?

Honda’s bike is crap, but that’s to his advantage. He needs his teammate at a disadvantage as well. I think this is why he liked the idea of JLo. He knew he wouldn’t be able to ride it. If Ducati would have extended JLo’s contract, MM would have needed to deal with both Ducatis

The motgp announcers said Jarvis stated next year he would get an A spec bike like Morbidelli.
He didn't say what the upgrades were, or if the bike would receive upgrades during the season.

Sorry Koko, I was too focused on MM. I believe the factory rolled out a slew of upgrades after the last test. He would likely receive them all at the same time along with the 500 extra RPM

I was wondering why I was agreeing with you more often than not lately.

So it's the old chassis package that he has? If so it's the fish John West Rejected as Nate said. Maybe it didn't feel as good to the riders but was quicker. Geez the engineers might have been right for once!
