Home except for essential service work, medical or shopping/fuel.  Only one non family member may visit your home at any time. Walking outside for exercise may not exceed two people (safety measure). 90% of businesses shut. Elderly and disabled given certain times to shop without competition. Anti hoarding measures. Schools closed, etc. I reckon about a step behind Italy.
Our testing regime has been quite good by world standards and we have national health care.

Still kicking. Still working too, since we've been deemed essential.

Since I'm largely antisocial to begin with, this whole thing hasn't been a big deal so far and is sort of normal for the most part. About the only real impact has been availability of asswipe.

My company contracts for HHS/CMS so we are definitely essential.
Over half our workforce was already remote workers anyway so no real impact outside of the random folks that have never worked remotely before.

It has allowed me to make a great big leap forward on my backlog of work since I am not interrupted by nearly as many daily "status" meetings.

As for here, wife unit is also a full time remote worker so with our home offices on separate floors, we usually only interact a couple of times during work hours but then have continued our normal day to day routines.
We have stocked up on some stuff to allow for a full lockdown if it occurs.

I've gone back to school with Zeke as a 7th grader.

It's my punishment for being truant in that period of my life.

I am so tired. We are back up and running at work. Way less people and only one shift, but it was a draining day. The one and only person I asked them to let go was kept on. Now is not the time for safety scofflaws. He must of been talked too this morning after I made a stink about it, because he went out of his to say we all to do what I say. Is it next year yet?

I begin week 2 of WFH tomorrow.

Car biz is considered by some to be essential.  It does play a big role in the economy.  I'm fearful that poor sales tactics post 9/11 and '08 meltdown that were finally starting to subside are going to be common place again.  Hmmm...seems to be cyclical.  And I mean that from an industry standpoint.  It's great for all of the consumers we tend to keep locked in that vicious cycle (cynical industry guy speaking).

Here in Texas, they've been a little slow to fully adopt the stay at home mandate.  My city issued it last week, but declared all businesses essential.  Then they amended that to actual essential businesses.  The city got served with a lawsuit on Friday by a realtor, seeking to lift the non-essential restrictions.  bang head bang head bang head

Only downside for me so far is that I had agreed to let my tenant out of his lease early at my condo in Denver.  May be a bit tough to find a replacement quickly. #firstworldproblems.

So I think racing for me might be cancelled this year. #firstworldproblems

I initially thought this would be a two month problem, with impacts to relatively short term projects. I think I may have been surprisingly optimistic, and now I think it will impact Bonneville in August.

I'll happily be wrong.

My wife and I are way out in the boonies in Northern Arizona, and plan to stay that way. Once we finished building the house, I'd been guiding up in the Grand Canyon for almost a year, but that came to a halt about two weeks ago, and yesterday the National Park officially closed the gates, which was a couple of weeks later than they should have, but one week after the first confirmed case among the full-timers in the Park. The company I work for (Pink Jeep Tours, part of Herschend Enterprises) is keeping folks on the payroll & health insurance, so I get up there a few days a week to work on the vehicles and other solo tasks.

There's not much to celebrate these days, but a bit of extra time on my hands meant I finally heeded that little voice that said it's been way too long since I checked out doings on the DMF, so there's that.
