Hello,

I have a 2001 Monster 750 Dark. I am looking for slip ons or a complete exhaust.

Currently I have not personally seen the bike, I purchased it in Portugal for Portugal then covid hit.

I would like to locate an exhaust in the US and pack it up and take it with me next time I get there.

Can someone tell me what pipe size I need, do I need adapters or something to make slip-ons fit the factory header?

What do you recommend for a brand? It's not S4rs, its just a 750 so I don't need more pipe than I can afford.

Help me out guys, educate me please.

Thanks

Spark and Sil Moto come to mind.
Also Arrow, Leo Vince, Zard, Termignoni, Akrapovic, D&D, Remus, Staintune, Fast by Feracci, Mivv, Marving, GPR, Hawk. There are brands I've forgot. Not all are in production anymore for the older bikes, but used pipes do circulate. The older Monster 750 and 900 slip on pipes (mufflers) will fit, say '93 to 2002.
Available through some of our sponsors and via eBay sellers.

Disclaimer: I do not know this seller, nor do I know the actual condition of these cans.

That being said, if they were a bit closer to me I’d buy them for a spare set at the advertised price. Should fit your bike as all air cooled Monster’s of this vintage had the same headers AFAIK. (Smarter guys on here than me who can confirm or deny.). These are obviously the high mount cans which can present problems if you want to ride two up.

If they are still listed at the end of the month, I may pick them up when I drive through SB. Worth a look for sure.

M900 had bigger headers but mufflers works all models.
Remus quite long, esp if you’ve cut rear end.
