I had 2-280Zs back in the day and really enjoyed them both. The first one I bought for $600, got a cheap paint job on it and drove the piss out of it. The thing was bullet proof and was actually mechanically sound and tight as a drum for what I paid for it. When I got a few more $$ in my pocket, I bought a newer and, what I thought was a very clean and well maintained 208Z. The thing was spotless and performed perfectly. Until it didn’t. LOL. The car had an electrical gremlin that couldn’t be chased down and ultimately was stolen right when I decided to sell it. Sometimes things just work out as I got more $$ from the insurance than I was going to get from the sale.

I have lusted after another Z since but never pulled the trigger. The JDM thing has gotten out of hand and you can’t touch a rust bucket 280 for under $10k anymore. I’ve been bitten by the BMW and Ducati bug, which has eating up all of my motoring funds! I still enjoy the new Z very much!
