I think your first thing to do should be upgrade to some Ohlins forks... you know for better performance. Maybe a carbon fiber gas tank?

You really wanted a sport bike.  Too bad you didn't get yourself one right away, coulda saved yourself a big hit on what you lost on the monster.  But then you wouldn't have meet all of us Smiley

Pond, no.  Channel, yes!   Grin  Post some pics already!!!

Anyways, that is a big step up in performance from a 696 but it is a pretty civilized package that is easy to ride.  I hope it treats you well and you enjoy it.

And I'll get in line 2nd for the forks and callipers if you ever change them.

The Daytona's a great bike. But still too much for someone just starting to ride  Grin

Be careful on that thing. And yeah, stick around. We don't discriminate...well, unless you ride a Harley  [moto]
