Nope Luca Marini's GP22 Ducati did not have a suspension failure.  In case you did not know this is Valentino Rossi's half brother.  Anyway this is Ducati's ride height and hole shot device. They can use this technology for starts and cornering.   It actually looks like a low rider.  Not sure if this kind of technology will have much use on the street but this is what has come out of Ducati's MotoGP skunk works.
