So, this is a pretty old (1984 -1985) TV series, and it's based on the (very well known ) book by Eiji Yoshikawa.

NOT based on historical fact, you will learn a lot, about the things you will learn from the book "
The Book of the Five Rings (
五輪書)" (which was written by Mushashi himself, around 1645, near at the end of his life)
, if you have read the book, or if you will read the book later.
(You know guys like James Yeager actually read The Book of the Five Rings?)

#2Although it is a TV series drama, it's been put together pretty well.
A WHOLE lot better than most of the samurai flicks produced in the later years.
(Acting, Sword (all weapons) handling, language they speak, everything was WAY better back then, than now (the last 10 years or so).
#3This channel, most probably, will upload the whole episode, which is not always possible, not that easy, due to the copyright issues.
This channel cuts up the episodes to about 8 to 10 minutes each, then uploads.So, it is easy to watch, even if you have a busy life.
