This thing sounds broken...

« on: July 26, 2008, 02:23:36 PM »

So I'm driving along Great Highway, on my way back from the bicycle ride w/ Desmostro, when I saw a fairly large groups of helmets in the distance.

They were on the Northbound side of the road, and at least 20 of them, maybe a few more. I still can't believe it!! It was an entire group of super-bling'd out Rukkus scooters!! Shocked Chrome, crazy metallic candied pearlescent paint jobs, the works!!! laughingdp laughingdp laughingdp

Craziness, I tell ya.... craziness!

Hey, just ask Dan how great the Ruckus is!  Grin

BTW, there's a vid floating around the interwebs of some guy who shoehorned a 600cc Honda Silverwing engine into a Ruckus. Sweet!

(Tho not as cool as the guy who put a 750 I4 engine into an old Vespa.)

I'm actually most surprised at how the Ruckus is highway legal. Even the 'Big Ruckus'.

I had a gang of them pass me a few months back on Alemany as I was pulled over calling for directions.  I couldn't believe my eyes either!!  I thought they were pretty sweet personally.   waytogo

Ah, the famed lucky ruckus, or, as it's known is some circles, the "luckus". It's a very good portent. I would consider playing the lottery if I were you.
