First i want to hear them...

then i want them to make them for the 696.

then i want to buy them.

They look a thousand times better than slip-ons.
Red 696- You can call her Isabella.

Was the bike custom mapped before the boom tubes?

+1...... So what is the answer?
Sold: 2007 S2R1000 for canyon carving and commuting - DP ECU, PCIII, BMC air filter with open box, Zard full exhaust, Race-tech fork internals, Ohlins steering damper, and a Penske 8987 triple clicker

2000 996XU (extra ugly) for track days - BST carbon wheels, Ohlins shock, reworked fork, FBF exhaust, and a bunch of megacycle rocker arms. The rest of it is junk - Hey, I'm just happy that it runs...

Sold: 2002 Aprilia RST1000 for touring - De-restricted airbox, Taylormade Racing exhaust

Prior to the Boomtubes I had Zard. They were not mapped, ran very lean. Now, the power band is very driveable and consistent. They are tolerable at low rpm, but... t open up above 8,000rpm!!!!

Zed... Just emailed sound clip to those of you who had an email in their profile. Couldn't get the sound clip to post here. If you want a copy, pm me your email and I will get it sent to you.

I am planning on getting a sound clip of me in motion on the bike to give you an idea what it sounds like at higher rpm's.

So....the properly tuned bike made more power with Boomtubes, compared to an improperly tuned bike with Zards......No surprise there!

Nothing against Boomtubes or the creator, but these blanket statements implying that Pipe A is better than Pipe B in terms of performance, are just totally misleading.

after 8000rpm i hit redline, so that point is moot to me. Damn S4Rs...... i wish i could upload it, but i have no way to, but the bike does sound BADASS!!! Though, i dont know what i hearing since it sounds like its all low rumble grunt. lol Wht i thought was the exahust now sounds like the clutch.

Porsche Monkey

How much are these going to cost when they reach production?  They would be great on my M900.
