Just spent an hour on the phone with godaddy to purchase the new server.

Now i need to do the migration...I'm somewhat nervous...I'll post up when it'll happen.

I may start the migration this evening...we'll see. In any case the old server will still be active until I'm sure all is well.

I just remembered that DNS propagation can take up to 48 hours on a global basis. Typically it doesn't take that long.

Consequently, I'll wait until Saturday morning to shut down the old server just to make sure no one gets shut out. It won't significantly affect any credit we may get which will be applied to SSL certificates in the future.
