The NEHMA group seems to be a ghost town, so I'll drop this here...

Looking for the best place to try on a bunch of different helmets.

Best place =
- Multiple brands and styles (Street focused)
- full range of sizes
- Knowledgeable staff
- Within a reasonable distance (2 hours =/- from Portland ME.)

Am I looking for a unicorn? All recommendations welcome!

I think you're looking for a unicorn.

Most dealers carry one, or two, brands at most, and inventory levels are typically kept low.

I think you'll have to try several dealers.

If I was in CA, I'd go to Chaparral... Embarrassed

Cycle Gear at the Mall of NH in Manchester has a decent selection.  You can go to their web site and see what they have in store before you make the trip.
