Hey, I have no problem with free drinks. It goes with the responsibility of using someone else's employee discount that I did not deserve to use... not being an employee and all. A few free drinks sounds fair to me. What I can do for Alan?... I'm working on something as a thank you. At least now the family can travel in some other vehicle than Jen's Acura MDX which is getting way too many miles on it. Having the full four door crew cab option will be great for hauling around the family and friends. My old Suburban is great but it is old and the AC takes forever to cool down in this kind of weather. Maybe by the time you get to where you want to go it's semi cool, but as soon as you're there it gets hot again. Kinda like cooling an gym in a hurry. It's a great long distance hi-way car for sure... love it for that, don't want to ever get rid of it.

It's just not the same as buying a new bike. It's been a while since I bought a car and it just doesn't have that same emotional kick as getting a new bike. As great as it is to get a new car for the killer discount deal, it just isn't the same. We are scooter people. Cars are just an appliance. Great to have but just that. Bikes are a life giving gift of pleasure. Anyone want to disagree?

Anyway, my eternal gratitude and thanks for Alan's help and gratious offer. I'll find a DFW/DMF way to say thanks. For sure. [moto]

Yup, got it. Hadn't gotten a quarter mile from the dealer and it started pouring rain. Where the hell did that come from. Haven't seen rain in the forecast in a month!! Oh well, like my Dad used to say "need to knock the new off of it". It had better get used to being dirty. Bikes get cleaned not cars. Need to get some decent floor mats for it and after we get back from vacation a visit to Rhinoliner is next.

I'll need one of you hi-tech wizards to help me figure out all the gizmos. Hands free blue tooth my ass! If my hand is free and I'm driving there should either be a beer or gun in it!
