Ian passed early this morning from cancer. He was a close friend that I met at the annual event at Grattan Raceway in Michigan.

Ian was a retired engineer. Engineers, and I, don't typically get along. Most are way too serious. Ian wasn't like that. He was funny, and had a great sense of humor. he was also a track day junkie, and could ride. He was also tenacious. The medicos gave him 6 weeks to live last fall. He wasn't done yet, and fought the fight.

My condolences to his wife Sue, and their daughter whose name escapes right now. He'll be missed.

RIP, my friend.
