I walked the dog, drank a lot of coffee, went to a monthly meet up with local oldsters like me.

Walked around NYC. Attended the Frick museum. Drank wine. Reassured myself that living in a cold climate isn't in my cards.

Woke up, made coffee, made breakfast, made lunch, had a stiff drink and nap, made dinner.  Exciting

Today I got done with a 24 hour shift, and drove to my next 12 hour shift.

It's worth a trial run, at least.

Lather, rinse, repeat:  go to airport, sit and wait for delayed flight.  Sometimes with a beverage, sometimes without (if en route to work related destination)

Today it's waiting for a delayed flight home.

Yesterday...spent an hour and a half with the court ordered 'court navigator' fixing the paperwork I botched for Zip's guardianship accounting. She was very funny.

As an aside...if you ever think you want to be a guardian, talk to a lawyer and find out if you can let the state do the paperwork, and you can house, and love them. Doing 100's of hours of paperwork, court appearances, and the general bullshit the system puts you through make the beast with two backsing sucks.

It was much better just being his dad.

Walked around the deck.
Relaxed.

I made a minimalistic paracord camera sling for Leica D Lux 7, AND made a video about making the sling. Last night.




Forget about fancy leather strap.

Simple. Functional. Costs nothing.
