Some notes on the ECU, I realized I used some really bad description as to the ECU, not married in which I meant you can wipe and re-use them(you need to re flash it like a virgin or de-flag the immo). In order to connect to the K-line network on these motorcycles you NEED an actual cable that uses the FTDI chipset not an inexpensive clone you will find on ebay and amazon. Amazon DOES offer one that does have the good chipset and works. below is a picture of mine cost was around 60 US or get the Lone-tec. I went and took out the other key codes, revirginized the ECU setting hex to 4D0CE to 00-unflagged from 01- flagged through a hex editor. Incredibly all of this is there to find on your search engine and there is a guide on this site as to how to connect. Total in tools= $75 USD, all my software was downloadable free.

The downloading process through IAWDiag, connect your charger to your laptop and a battery tender to the bike.
