Infineon Trackday -- UPDATE
«

So I've had the RS for a year now. My schedule this past year kept me from the track. I wanna get back on the track before the year is up. Was looking at Z2 and they have 2 days in December, the 6th & 7th, Sat and Sun (I like to ride in cooler weather than summer heat). My wingman is buying a house and will have ZERO trackday funds. I'm looking for some company at one of these events. Someone who can ride in the intermediate group and have fun at that pace, the A group is fun but I wanna be able to have a casual session or two if I want and not worry about trashing someone's line. I can do either day, lemme know....
There is currently no waitlist and the cost is $280.
EDIT: Ride Redshift (formerly DP) has a date in October, Thurs the 23rd as well!! It's only $20 more and sounding better as I will have hopefully still have decent rubber left (cruiser has a new seat so I'm splitting time and will ride more to save the tires on the RS if I know I'm going to the track!)

Not sure what you're looking for...
I'm booked for Sears/Infineon the day after Thanksgiving. You're always welcome to check in and hang around the pits.

Just looking for someone to go riding at a track day as my wingman won't have the funds to go. If I don't go to the Oct event, what org is holding the Nov event so I can check it out?

cool, nice to see they have lifted their mandatory coolant draining (was a real PITA on my other bikes). What group are ya in? B+ is full already!

Well, things have changed. And for the better! Just got a notice from The TrackClub
http://thetrackclub.com/products.php?cat=9
and they are having an "old school" event at Infineon. THIS MEANS NO CHICANES!! We get to ride the original configuration of the track and for only $249.00!
You can also rent lap timers for 20.00!
The linky will take you to the sign up page for the Oct 27th event. Hope to see some of you out there. As of right now (and it can always change) my wingman is going to make it. Would still like to hook up with some of you tho.... Jaman? Remy? SMDucman?
Oh yeah, I am gonna run B group for this one.

I've been thinking about doing this day as well as T-Hill the two days after.

D, that's right before a race weekend. Prepare for that to be a fast day with some pretty close riding the B group. The AFMers will be out in force and A group will fill up, so they'll ride B. And then, of course, some B-groupers will try to keep up and will fall down.

Ah good call... I guess I'll play it by ear. I'll sign up C group and play it by ear.

If you're at B group pace, ride B group. C group will be frustrating and sketch, and you'll always be able to move down if necessary. I just wanted to give you a heads-up so you know what to expect. Frankly, in terms of predictable riding, you're probably better off with a buncha racers trying to tune up for the weekend. I just worry about the others who might try to keep up because they get passed and think "hey, they're a B rider, I should be able to catch 'em."

Yeah Bess is pretty good at letting me group jump... I have a left over track pack day that I need to use up before the end of the year.

Well, it's almost time! The 27th is right around the corner if some of ya wanna get in on a track day at Sears (Infineon, sorry I hate the name) with thetrackclub.com. They are still offering the 249.00 price to get the last bit of space filled. Hope you see/meet some of you there!
