fine here in burbank. We're on the fifth floor, got a big shaky but didn't even lose any toys off my bookshelf.
No idea about home, hope the Joe Glass is ok.
Mags is in anaheim taking the bar. She was finishing up the morning section and felt really claustrophobic. She turned it in and as soon as she got out of the room and building it started shaking and literally knocked her on her ass. She's ok, little shaken (this was the biggest one either of us had felt). I guess they ended up evacuating and stuff, the state bar has to make a determination on whether to invalidate the test. They should hear by first session in the morning. In a way, I kind of want them to so that the additional distraction doesn't mess her up...but on the other hand she's just spent a month working towards this and having to wait 6 months to retake would suck.

that was the first earthquake I've felt since I moved here from the east coast. Not as bad as I imagined it would feel like

I was stting in my truck waiting for one of my employees when it hit. My truck started shaking side to side, I'm thinking, "that's a big gust of wind..."
Looked up at the trees and they weren't blowing. Got out of the truck, and I started shaking.
When it stopped it came to me that it must have been an earthquake. It was my first real one since moving out here from CT. Fun times!

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

Good shimmy here in Whittier. I was in the back yard doing some clean up when it hit. Panic took over as I looked at the 996 in the driveway..... solid as a rock! ..... The monster was swaying in the garage- scared the crap outta me!. Kids and wife were in the car and cell phones were out for around 40 min. Everyone a-o.k here. Hope all is well for the other SoCal DMF'ers.

My friend was taking it at the same location but he finished 10 minutes early cuz he really had to go to the mens room...but that didn't work out for him...Highly doubt they will invalidate that test considering the fact that the quake was at the very end.

In my truck, stopped, about 10 miles east of the epicenter.
Just rolled around like a big rig had driven past.
Nothing moved at my casa.

was sitting on the couch at the time.. at first i thought it was a truck (house next door is being renovated), then i was sure it wasn't. my dog was slightly freaked but really not much. i grabbed her, then it was over. nothing broke; joe's glass clinked and chattered but is all intact..

Mosts of the posts I've read start with "I was at home watching TV..." or "I was on the couch..."
Are you all financially wealthy that you don't work?
I was at work in a meeting, a few people ran out the building....I just got under a desk.
Bikes didn't tip over and not a thing fell/moved in my house.
