Ok so I know there are more cities that this listed in Canada, but I think I've hit most of the major centers.  So let us know where you are.  If you aren't listed above choose the closest and then tell us where you really are.

Cheers

I voted for London, but I'm a little bit southwest in Wallaceburg, Ontario.  I've only ever seen one other Monster drive through my town.

Not really that close to any of those metropolises.   ;D   Closest city listed would be Toronto but I don't know why I would want to waste 3 or 4 hours on superslab to get there.  I'm in North Bay, Ontario.

Surprisingly I've ridden with a guy on an S4RS here in town and the brother of a guy I know just got a 695.  There's apparently another guy with a Monster somewhere in  town but I haven't run into him yet.  Not bad for a little northern town surrounded by moose and beaver!   ;D

When it comes time for the 10k service I'll probably ride it over to Ottawa where I bought it. It will be a nice ride in the fall.   ;D

I didn't even know there were that many towns in Canada  [laugh]

In all honesty though I'd love to move the hell out of Texas, settle in Vancouver, and poach your women.

Victoria, Monster S4RS Tricolore #248. I've only seen a couple Monsters around Victoria., but there are lots of Ducatis in Victoria and Nanaimo.  Difficult to find out how many Ducatis there are on Vancouver Island.  We have a great dealer in Nanaimo who seems to be moving lots of Ducactis. With no Ducati/Monster club on the Island it's a bummer, not even an Italian bike/scooter club.  As far as getting info from DOCC, you're waisting your time, the most recent post on their website dealing with Western Canada dates back to May 2008. What a waste of money it was for me to get a 2-year membership, all I got was a couple of loosy stickers and a few magazines which deals exclusively with Ontario. All their activities-info are Ontario/Quebec centric. I much rather spend my web time on this site and the Ducati Nortwest site.

I'm currently in Calgary.
There are tons of Ducs on the road here. So much so that we formed a local Ducati club last year. Most of our members are in Calgary, but the club is Western Canada based with members in BC, SK and of course AB.

I'm in a town an hour north of Halifax. There are a few Ducatis here in the East since a new dealership opened in Moncton 2 years ago. Before that the brand wasn't very well represented.

Yves, sorry you haven't had any luck with the DOCC in BC. You're right, for many years the club revolved around track days in Ontario and Quebec and this was reflected in their lack of membership and club activities in the rest of the country. I found this same scenario 4 years ago when I got involved with the DOCC in Atlantic Canada, although fortunately things have changed for the better now. Just curious, have you contacted the club with your complaint? It'd be worth voicing your dissatisfaction to the club directly. The best way for businesses and organizations to develop better practices is through customer/member feedback. The club needs to know that you have been unhappy with your membership purchase so they can improve in the future.

Anyway, it's good to hear there are other clubs in your area for you to hang with. [moto] [thumbsup]

I'm in Hantsport, about an hour out of Halifax. There are other Ducati's in the area, but I think I might be the only monster.

Hi-ho-hi-ho....its off to the track I go.................

numbskull

I live on one of the small islands close to Vancouver and commute by ferry to Vancouver for work. I have to live with a ferry schedule, but it beats the hell out of being stuck in a traffic jam surrounded by cages.
