anyone wanna ride this weekend??  whaddya mean it's too cold? hell when I was your age we used to pour rubbing alcohol on ourselves and ride around naked!!  not to mention the daily commute of 300 miles in snow,80 mphwind, uphill both ways, at night with no lights.. we were tuff I tell ya, not like you kids today, driving around in cars and such, whatever happened to real bikers??   I know I'm glad I grew out of that stage in life...keep warm, I think I'll fire up the XR and go for a spin.

Wow, I feel like such a wuss.  I find the suffering involved in sub-40 degree riding interferes with the pleasure derived.  I don't have a fairing, heated grips,  or heated vest.  That might be part of it.  But I do need 600 more miles by Dec. 21st so if you are going to be out and about, give a shout.  If it gets above 40, I'll come out.

I can't say how many times some old fart would tell you about about how hardcore they were back in the day.Growing up in Alaska we did some stupid things for fun,but cold body parts arn't that much fun any more!!  Don't think We'll see much street riding before the 21st, but as soon as the weather breaks...   Snow riding on dirt bikes is still very fun when dressed for it [moto]

I am in (tentatively)!  Barring a emergency dash down to Albuquerque to close out my apartment, I should be in town and ready to ride.  WannaDucBad is wrapping up my place down there and has to be out tomorrow.  I am hoping it goes off uneventfully.

Once again , My riding plans have been sabotaged by work!  Thought I would be finished by now, but still have a couple hours left. I can't cry too loud, I'm still employed, so it's a good thing.  will be riding later but I will be staying local, maybe!! gotta go...

S'all good!  I went over, ate a salad, then took a cruise down to Penrose to let the Paladin stretch his legs.  Felt good to be out.  Tons of riders on the road!  Had this month's Cycle World so I read up on the 1198S.  Ductalk is better than Ducread, but it filled the bill.   Grin

I got on the road at 2:00, run into some friends who rode from Black Forest on Harley's, toole'd around local being a tour guide for a couple hours. It was good just to ride, lots of debris on the roads around here, keeps you on your toe's. I'll PM my phone # so You can reach Me if you head this way.  Well I gotta get back to  the daily grind, Oh Joy!!!

depends on the day for me, but I'll at least show up for coffee provided you aren't talking squid hours....  (ie... coffee at 10AM) I like me the early stuff.
