I called Monte's at 9:00 and they said You just left, I got out of the shop around 9:30, hung around the house till 10:15 to see if You Folks might stop by, then did the Texas Creek, Westcliffe, Bishop's Castle run. Had a nice ride, couple rain drops, no critters or idiots outstanding. Looking forward to Ouray, think about a departure time / place yet?

I was hoping those parts I need were going to make it up from Albuquerque, but they are not here yet.  Of course, I could take the Paladin out all gimpy.  I am so tempted.  What's a few hundred more miles on a lame Duc.

Any one up for a ride on Sunday the 19th?  Maybe hit up deckers and onward over hoosier pass to breckenridge?
Cripple Creek loop may be shorter, but traffic may be an issue.

Meet at Monte's at 9am??

That's a great idea!  Lots of time between then and now, but I am going to say that I am in and hope for the best!  Monte's at 9AM.

It was a perfect day to go for a ride in the mountains and check out the aspens.  It was great to see Christy and Campbell (sp?) at Montague's.  Sorry that KRJ had a head cold so he and Shannon didn't make it.

I caught up with the three Riggs brothers and Lisa in Pine Junction.  Headed toward Breckenridge now.  Guanella Pass was gorgeous.  The parking lot was packed with cagers viewing the aspens.

You can't tell these guys are brothers, can you?

Getting ready to head back down after lunch.
