Yep - I am with WQBE and they have insured all my bling as well - And as some of you know there is quite a bunch of BLING!

But the real reason I like them is because this year I got my insurance for free - Best Monster on the Turismo 2007! :wine

I'm with WQBE too, they were half the price of Shannons - due to no claim, small k's, club discount etc.

No wonder they took the previous forum as a club - we're all with them!

Go on Mick, admit it, you register your Gogomobile with them too!

Wink

Hey I know more than a few Goggo owners (one even only has two wheels) ... and some of them are only slightly more eccentric than Monster owners  Shocked

QBE cost me $749 for $32,000 cover, Shannons charge $50 more but you can pay by the month at no extra cost (but they wouldn't insure my Fairmont Ghia cos I park in the street!)

I'm assuming the $32,000 cover is not for a Monster, If it is  I WANNA SEE IT !

oh, I'm with QBE too, totally surpirsed by the quote for the S4R, it was 1/2 of what I was paying through Suzuki Insurance (don't ask why) for my old Z1000.

Nah, I traded my Monster for a HD (read too many 'Fraser Monopoly' horror stories on these forums), plus the seat was too small.  Embarrassed

WQBE have proved the cheapest/most interesting for me and their reps helpful and friendly.  But I am over 40 and have never made a claim so easy for them to offer me a good deal I guess.  The real test is when you need them to come to the party...  and for better or worse I never have needed them to.

And if you ever do, ask for Lachlan. A really good bloke! don't talk to one of the women there.

Well I just got a quote from QBE - $472 for market value (including up to $4000 cover for gear)

Thing is according to stupid 'red book', market value is $8000!!!!!! Bike is an 01 S4.  Is this accurate?  Huh?  Now i'm not sure - not that I hold red book in any high esteem....  Undecided

She said I can do 'agreed value' - but most they could do was $11,000 - takes the premium to $600

Now both these quotes are significantly cheaper than most others - i've got suzuki cover like Dos Verde (again don't ask why!!)

Have to say I was speaking to some chick who gave the impression that she really wasn't sure what bike it was - seemed to have trouble finding my bike in the listing she had...  Think she went with 'Monster 900' which it isn't - not really anyway...

Might try again later to get someone else...

Thoughts?
