So I got bored today and wanted to see what was left after I took off the stock tail section...This is what I ended up with:

If one could get a custom solo seat fab'ed up, the bike could have a whole new look without cutting anything...Thoughts?  Do you think it would look O.K.?  I'm thinking about this bike when I fantasize:

A seat with a hump or a cowl thats styled same way as the tank.
One that ends in line with the termis.

Yours (and many other's) fantasy/inspiration bike is made by an artist (IIRC?) - it's obvious he's used to thinking outside the box.

The blank canvas you supplied can hopefully inspire the mod gurus here to make the 696 a more unique/true Ducati Monster. I expect great things.
Your contribution triggers curiosity - good DMF work waytogo

I feel like a new exhaust configuration would be needed, because it would stick out a bunch if the short seat is put on.  I'll try to photoshop it out the exhaust after work today.

A Quat-D ex-box would look great on this bike. Does anyone know if they've came out with one yet or are planning too for the M696?
