Now the money shot!!! Dave or Jeff you can explain this one.
Well, it's fairly self explanatory. 5 sports bikes + a speed limit =
one county sheriff and a one hour pit stop for paperwork.
It wouldn't have been nearly as bad if we had some
( that's for you Kris)

I hate to ask this, but is anyone interested in an '05 S2R 800.
Where were you when I was looking for a second bike?
I do know a guy at work who had an S4R and sold it about 6 months ago. Now he keeps asking if I am going to sell my monster. I'll find out if he is still interested in one.

Have you seen Equilibrium? That is where my unholy interest in Cristian Bale began. We also just got Harsh Times, that guy is a bad assed actor.
I am almost ashamed to say that I have seen Equilibrium (twice) not one of his best but good none-the-less. I am a little worried about the whole assault on his sister and mom. My wife says that it is him reminding everyone that he is still the "American Psycho". He is bad ass and the man crush continues!!!

So did you all get tickets? I'm glad I didn't go if that was the case! We'll have to keep it under the speed limit the next time we go out.
The next ride we do should be the same route I did yesterday, you'll love the country side and the cool ferry ride!

Seriously, I have been going back and forth, trying to avoid selling it, but we have spent about $40k on unsuccessful IVF attempts, and we have to lay in the bed we have made. It isn't perfect, but it is real good shape and has the QD Exbox exhaust. It was on craigslist for $6500 a few months back, but I am negotiable now that we actually need the money (I won't be posting that bit of info on craigslist when I derby). So, if anyone knows someone who is interested, please give them my email-
ruse@cox.net
. Thanks
I did get to do some riding last week down in and near NC, Ballahack was the only road I can remember. We pretty much just kept going down roads until we got tired of it, rode about 150 miles.
BTW the only other movie I saw Bale in was the Machinest*spelling, and I thought he did a great job!

We will have to try and do it again and this time keep it to the posted limit even though I didn't think that we were speeding. I will try and get some pics the next time we go out.
Kris, were you and I on the same ride? I know I was hitting 80-90mph on some of those stretches!
Please!
The cop was nowhere near as nasty as he could have been, he gave us some good tips, and it really ain't nothin' but a thing. deal with it, and move on. A little aggravation, some $$, and it's over.
Dave, I'll follow you any day. It was a great ride. I had a blast.
I still smile every time I think about the cop saying "You fellas sher do laike them Dewkaatees, doncha?"

Oh he would give it to you...I was bringing up the rear a good hundred feet behind trying to catch up and he gave me a ticket.

I thought Equilibrium was great. Not the best plot, or acting, or directing, or effects, or anything really... but I thought it all came together to make a movie that was fun to watch. My dvd was actually stolen, and I just bought another. I have read that his assault charge was for verbally assaulting his mom and sister, apparently it is a misdemeanor in England to curse and threaten someone. Good thing it isn't like that here, you think the jails are overcrowded now...

The road dead ended at a ferry about a mile down. I can just see 5 sportbikes all trying to jump the ferry Dukes of Hazzard style
.
Nah, we did what had to be done for the situation we were in. I really don't want to try explaining to my wife why I'm in jail in Currituck North Carolina sharing a cell with Bubba and Leroy (and Kris and Dave).
Just got back from Busch Gardens. Nice day.
Tomorrow, we're supposed to go to Lanexa VA for a MINI Cooper fest.
I got too many hobbies!
