Keep going west until you hit Mts. or take the blue ridge parkway. I'm about to check them out next week on my way up to my parents house.

Stacy? that you?
There are some decent roads around here. Not Hockenheim decent, but decent.
If Hannah passes quickly, we might hit some of them Sunday.

Hey, Jeff! I made it to the new web site
I'm definitely up for a ride this weekend if the weather holds out. Otherwise, it's
time....or maybe time for the tail chop.

I may be up for a ride Sunday if the weather clears. But it will probably be a last minute decision. A couple of guys from work are going to go to bikers for tykes but I think I would rather ride.
NO MORE DC !!! I guess I forgot to mention that I got out of my commitment in DC and I will be staying local until next July.
748 is back together and runs fine, a week and a half later. Ran into two delays. First I needed a 21mm deep socket that I didn't have, +1 day.
I also didn;t read through the instructions carefully before I started.
When I got half way through I found that I needed to replace the lock nuts and wavy washers. Called Redline and they didn;t have any in stock so I couldn't pick them up until today, +6 days. Overall, after my delays, the job wasn't really that difficult. Some parts were a little annoying but not bad. The worst part was the hour to remove interference before I could even start on the belt job, and the hour to put it all back when I was done.

Hannah's gonna dump a bunch of rain, then head up east, and should be history by Sunday.
Dave, glad you got out of D.C., sounded like nuthin' but hassle.
Stacy, glad you made it.
I'm thinkin' a breakfast meet at old country buffet over there at Greenbriar, then work off some calories on the bikes after
This, of course, assumes that it's not still pissin' Sunday A.M., and that we haven't washed away by then.

I'd like to ride Sunday. Whats up with Hannah? Mabe she will just pass through quietly. I'll check back here later. Who knows, the roads might dry up by tomorrow.

Gearhead Dave and I will be at Old Country Buffet, 1412 Greenbriar pkwy, at @ 9:30 tomorrow. After B'fast, we're going for a ride.
Anyone else wanna join us?
Weather is supposed to be fine, AM clouds, then sunny all day.

Humor the new kid on the block.....is the Old Country Buffet in Norfolk? I need something I can google!
Meet for breakfast at 9:30 then ride after that? If the plan changes, you can email me at
mccard68@gmail.com
. It goes to my phone so I'll get it....as long as I'm not on the bike.
The b/f has a Speed Triple...mind if he joins? He likes to be a hooligan but I let him know that he's an ass

And I forgot, the FL Gator game is on tonight....so if I get really hammered, there's no way I'll be ready for breakfast at 9:30!

Finding the meeting location is part of the initiation. Just ask Bulldog, he failed on the first try. J/K
Greenbriar is in Chesapeake.

Not a problem, we are pretty tolerant of others.

What area do you guys ride in? Usually south from Chesapeake?
Tryin to decide what I'm up for...looks like it's about 50 miles down there. I think 50 miles west might find some twisties....
