You can get regular grips and slide these over them.  I think they look the business and provide comfort.

slide a nice long flat head screwdriver up the old grip and spray in some WD-40, then penetrate a little more, lubricate, then gently rotate, pull and voila! the grip comes off...no knife or compressor needed.

i fitted rizomas a few weeks ago - very nice. had to drill a new hole for the throttle pin so the grip lined up with the end of the bar, but otherwise easy job. took about 15 minutes. feel great, look v hot.

2008 S2R1000 changed - spark headers and tail cut done, rizoma grips indicator lights and clutch cover titax levers, DP ECU, open filter, ...... maybe stop then............. nah think i'll add rizoma rearsets and their conical handlebar is f..hot... and then i need to get rid of those mirrors....
