if those wheels are the same axle dia as your bike, that's a good start.

I have heard that the steel swingarm will have clearance issues when going to a wider rear, and the al arms are made for it...

So the problem would be the tire and not the rim?  The wheel will have the same axle diameter (i believe...)...could I just buy a smaller tire say a 170 (would that even fit)?

Got it.  I would like to try to put them on, but I know the tank has to come off.  It's cool if you don't feel like spending much time on it.  Over all I figure it would take at least two, maybe two and a half hours, to get it all done; without counting distractions and our usual babble sessions...

Ok, I picked up the Rizoma fluid reservoirs (in black) from the BM who ordered them but couldnt use them.  How involved is it to replace them, add new fluid, and bleed them??

Not that hard but harder than you might think. You may need new hoses & clamps.

It's stilli in the bag with the levers, which I have some cash for btw.  I just need to decide if it's worth it to me to buy a second caliper and rotor before installing.

Possible caliper development:  There's a set of 05 620 calipers for sale with rotors - black brembo.  They'll fit, but are they drastically different than the goldlines?  Are they goldlines painted black?  If they are inferior, would I still be better off with two of those vice the one I've got?
