Earlier is better, but there will be racing all day. The guys usually compete in about 8-ish races, between the three of them, over the course of the day.

fun day.  was out shooting pics, first time trying to take shots of something moving, so hopefully came out alright.  any cool ones of tigre i'll post up.

watching you in your 2nd race (2nd i think, 750 race) was cool.  i was at the stands and everytime you passed, you were 1-2 positions better. nice going applause

I tried calling you at the track, but I never could connect, and then I didn't see you for the rest of the day.  Oh well, maybe next time.

Fun day, everyone!  A little damp to start out with but it ended up beautiful.   waytogo  Our boys did well and everyone and bike is home is one piece.   Sounds like a couple more might be added to the team next year.  Tigre - you need to start printing shirts.  Sounds like you have a few buyers interested!

flickr only lets you put up 100 MB's worth of pictures a week.  and putting up the full high res shots sucked it all up.  after i sort through the pics, i'll open a photobucket and upload smaller shots sometime next few days

Short version: Best weekend *ever*.

Thanks to everyone for all the support and the help.  Special shout-out to MBelle and TCK! for helping get me back out on-track in back-to-back races.  Also, thanks to Spidey for helping my girlie understand what was going on out on-track while I was racing.  Cool pics -- thanks for posting, DucSteve!

Final results:
Formula 1: 9th of 57 (started 18th, best finish ever): 1:46.0
750 Superbike: 8th of 36 (started 12th, best finish ever): 1:46.4
Open Twins: 6th of 27 (started 6th, 2nd best finish this season) -- 1:45.8

Would have loved a PR at the track, but will settle for making up for some *MISERABLE* starts.  I think my positions at turn 2 were:
Formula 1: 20th
750 Superbike: 17th
Open Twins: 12th

I think I could have made a pass on the infamous ironman Bud Anderson in 5th and taken the position, but my tire started to go off about halfway through the Open Twins race.  When I caught a big slide coming through 8a (high-speed right hander) I took note of the fact that my main competition in the points (Sherwick and Eddie) were behind me or out of the race, and I backed off to make sure I brought it home.

I'll let the other guys report on their results.

Cheers,
Tigre

Today was a fun day, and I'm glad folks captured some of that in picts.   waytogo  Good ridin' in with ya, too, Michael and Spidey.  Thanks for leading the way through the fog, MM!

Always happy to help out, Tigre.  I was all flustered and excited to do the pit board.  Fun stuff though and looking forward to doing it again!

Sounds like it was definitely a grrrrrrreat day of racing! Congrats on the finishes Tigre!

Sorry I couldn't make it up there... I threw the back out last week (again), and just needed to really stay off my feet.
