I have, but I had it for 3 months, drove it around Holland then to Sweden through Germany and Denmark in the winter.

Sitting in my hotel room 4 miles from Laguna Seca. Been up since 4AM Dallas time, and didn't get much sleep, at that. I ate breakfast at 4:30, and then again, seven hours later at 9:30 at LAX. It's 4PM now in Monterey, and the temperature is 63 degrees F, under a blue sky. And I'm starving.

Drove to the track. Tomorrow morning is big rig day, so noone was there except the track staff, voulnteers, and arriving campers and RVs. A good time to drive around and marvel at the design of the circuit. TV just can't convey the elevation changes. This is one hairy track.

I thought about driving to the best Italian restaurant I could find, but decided that running into Rossi or the Ducati team was pretty unlikely. So I'll try the Monterey Cookhouse down the street, where "everything is made from scratch and cooked on a wood fired grill", not just the steaks, brisket, ribs, and pulled pork, but apparently even the pizza and the creme brulee.  drool

Besides, it's happy hour there. chug

Enjoy the cool weather and the races. waytogo [moto] Pics or it didn't happen...
