Doing lots of disassembling on the 999. Mostly engine stuff now. I may post some pics, good chance I will need some help putting it back together....

Give me ring if you want some help with the rebuild.

Is the garage heated, or is this a living room pastime?!?

Garage is comfy enough after a while.

Duke and I are going to North Cackalackie for the holidays, but when we get back we'll help!
(He'll guard the beer -no opposable thumbs means no wrench-turning for him  Embarrassed )

Thanks, would love the help.  Getting ready to order parts now that I have most things apart.  Can't seem to get the spacer removed that lives between the clutch and the primary drive gear.  A wee seal back there I'd like to replace.

... and bring Dookie over, Abbie says hi!

Bryant, just holler if you wanna swing by and check out the parts.  It's helping me a bunch to see how this thing goes together. Will reassemble soon hopefully. waytogo

***,

I knew you were interested in seeing this stuff too.  I kinda do things in chunks, not all at once, depending on time and parts availability.  Would be happy to show you around the innards before it starts going back together, and I can post up later if I have anything significant being assembled. Just let me know what's best for you and your time.

BTW, I found a couple of old bent clip-on bars for your project.  They're just bent and scraped on the ends, so should be good for you.

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.
