Roughly 6 hours.  Still need to put a fresh coat of wax back on.  Took all the bodywork off since we were running at periscope depth for about 30 minutes - thus the silt all over the place  Lips Sealed  Glad I went to all the trouble tho; see seperate post in the AR Ride thread.
I give on bike cleaning. You guys win.

CHAT & SCAT !

I'm (deleted) coming up with the Top Ten Ways to ease Jonesing for your Moto while it is at Perry's for 2 (deleted) Weeks in Summer for a (deleted) clutch job.

10.  Listen to Ultimate Indy Headers on the CD player at speaker and ear rupturing levels of volume. (If you are calscrazy or LYD there is NO CD loud enough - sorry ).

9. Sit on other peoples bikes outside biker bars - if your sitting lasts longer than it takes for them to thrash you, YOU WIN.

8. Park the cage on the sidewalk, in the shade, at your local, just like you would the moto - great way to meet chicks ( well, policewomen anyway ).

7. Turn on the heater to full blast with windows up so you arrive at meetings soaked with sweat, just like usual.

6. Wave to everyone with a vehicle like yours, since I have a silverado pick up this means - arm out window at all times.

5. Drive everywhere with your head out the window or sunroof, it's just the breeze you really miss.

4. Try some lane splitting, you'll love the reaction you get from other drivers.

3. Weld a kickstand onto the running board of the silverado, sure it's useless, but amazing how much better you'll feel employing it while parking.

2. Take the HOV lane solo in the silverado, c'mon you're already used to being to object of every LEO's attention anyway & it will save time ( note: not jail time).

1. Stop using your windshield sun shade thingy so you can blister burn your ass real good on the seat just before you head into traffic.

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

hahha.... well done.  applause  Have you tried wearing your helmet and gloves in the cage (ATGATT)?  laughingdp

I'm jonesing for a ride too but it's the heat that's keeping me off. After a year and a half of moto-commuting I'm really liking the new cage when the conditions get inclement.

Might I suggest another?

To provide a more authentic "gas tank between your legs" experience, give yourself a quick junk-punch everytime you need to slam on the brakes.  Panic stops aren't really panic stops unless your man-berries hurt afterwards.   waytogo
