So, I found this site a while ago... and posted an intro in the main introduction section.  But, was pointed HERE last night at Mings (thank you Kathy).

I know, I know... most of the locals here haven't ever seen my monster.  She's an eternal work in progress - with any luck I'll have her on the road by the end of the year.  There has just been too much going on in life.

1994 - M900
I got pulled by a pickup truck down 1431 a few years ago.  OK, so it was only for a few blocks... but it felt like forever.  The bike, at the time, was my husbands (then boyfriend).  If you ever want to truly test a relationship... crash their bike (I don't recommend this).  It all turned out for the best - and hey, he got even last month by highsiding my 998 at the track.  bang head

Start:

Now:
New carbs,
New exhaust,
removing all guages,
New rearsets
dent pulled from tank and repainted black with white chalk flames
removed airbox
new fly-screen

I have the clutch in... working on some electrical stuff, my husband had taken her apart and I'm trying to figure out all that he did  laughingdp

Oh, new tank and rear cowl...

Some history about me:  I represent the motorcycle division for Harris Hill Road - my company is Elite Trackdays.  I've been in Austin since early 2002.  I met my husband Evan at one of the old Duc and Buell nights at Duck and Dog... he followed me home.  He proposed with a 998 key on a keyring rather than a ring, and that meant we would get married at the track - Cresson in 2007.  It snowed.

We now have the 998, 748 as trackbikes and the M900 and Norton Commando for the street.

I know many of you that post here, HI to y'all.  To those that I don't know... I look forward to getting to know you!

Welcome!  Now that's a proposal. How can you say no to that.  Smart man, so he can ride the 998 as well.  I have to remember this in case that time comes in the future.  Grin

Hey Zoommy! Glad you followed my linky.

And for the rest of you that were at Mings last night, all the guys went home early and the girls stayed. At least we got our monster parking on the sidewalk back  cheeky
