I'm trying to get a few people together for this ride organized by AZride.com. A bunch of us went last year and it was a blast, some really great riding.

"The most dramatic section of former Rt 666 is known today as the Coronado Trail Scenic Byway. Our Route 666 Run is a magnificent 265 mile ride on one of the most scenic stretches of American tarmac, in commemoration of the birth and death of the once legendary Devil’s Highway. "

Already have a few of you that expressed interest, but everyone please post up if you want to go. We plan to leave town Friday morning May 30th and rent a cabin in Alpine for 2 nights. We'll work out the details in this thread as they progress. Need to get a good head count as early as possible if people want to split a cabin.

More info:

Make sure and register on the web site to enter to win some prizes. It's not a huge group ride. Last year several small groups of riders/friends just checked in at the starting spot, and left on their own pace & schedule. You would see and mingle with the other riders at various stopping points, etc., and hanging out for meals before and after. A very fun day...hope to see a bunch of Duc riders!

Felicia and I will be tehre.

We are staying at the Rode Inn, in the Bikini suite no less! (I have no idea what that means.)

OK, you can wear your Mankini, but please keep it under your leathers. I heard it makes you faster. mo:t:

Nice. Why are you the only one to post up so far?

Because I have more time on my hands?

We're around, just trying to catch our breath!

Cool pics Alan.  Full ride report on it's way.  We had at least 4 cameras and some video going.  It was a great weekend!

Hoping to put a proper ride report together, but I'm waiting on pics from the other guys...you don't want some skewed, one sided story from the 80 pics off my camera do ya?!  Smiley

Getting ready to put together the ride report ...just sifting through all the images, etc.
But, I couldn't wait to share this vid.  I can't stop watching it.  Crank it.

Order of bikes:
Ducati 1098 stock pipe (I think)
Ducati GT1000 w/ Termignoni pipes (me!)
Ducati Monster S2R1000 with stainless Arrow pipes
Ducati Monster M900 with carbon Termignoni pipes
Yamaha R1. With carbon Termignoni pipe at least (the wannabe Smiley )
Ducati 749s with Termignoni full exhaust
Ducati 749s with carbon Remus pipes

Heaven.
