Simple Solution, you can get it in pet stores.  Trust me, it works.  I accidently clipped Lanas' dew claw too short...talk about a gusher! 

Spray it on, let it sit for a couple of mins. and blot it up.  Do that a couple of times if necessary and even run a carpet cleaner over it after.
