Hey guys, I am just curious how many miles you guys are putting on your ride. I thought I was an average rider at 6,500. How about you?

'03 620..bought new 4/03.

I rode 98% of the time in East Valley of Phoenix until I moved from there..10/06  Bike had 56,000 miles!!   Grin  cheeky

Since then, I've lived in FL and WA..only 5,000 added.   Undecided  due to no twisties in FL and rain in Seattle.

On the monster I've put a little over 11 K miles on 11 months, of which it has not been ridden at all for 2 months.

On the CBR I put a little over 10 thousand kilometers in about 15 months.

On the 996, a little over 600 miles in a week and a half  Grin

I did 16.5K miles since last July when I bought my first Monster. Lots of tires and lots of smiles.

And Rich does these miles by himself  Sad  [moto]

Lets see here, 14k in a year and 5 months.....and with the weak fuel capacity on the Monster added to the pathetic fuel mileage of the aprilia I know I've kept some turd in Rolex's & caviar down @ Chevron..... Angry Angry

The question posed was: "How many miles do you ride in a year?" Where does the 17 months fit in G.A.? Either bad reading skills, bad math skills or both. For what its worth G.A., I just got bored riding in groups where I wasn't comfortable with the pace. It's much more fun to me to to go where I want, when I want. Maybe that'll change. But I don't ride because I feel I have something to prove, I ride because I love it and I like to explore the back roads. I did 16K the last 12 months and I went all over the place, including Deals Gap, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and 3 sisters 4 times. You guys are certainly faster, but for me, life's a long ride and I want to enjoy it.

I put 7 to 8,000 miles 9 months out of the year. I don't ride much in the summer...single parent  bang head.
