Wondering if Tapered Roller Bearings ($60 at Desmotimes) provide any great improvement to the bike?  I'm going to replace my bearings to try to get rid of my jackhammer-headshake while braking, and was wondering if there are pros and cons to stock vs aftermarket...or if there's a better aftermarket product.  Thanks!

I put in those bearings last winter, because my OEM ones were bad.  I can't tell any difference between the tapered ones and the stock ones (before they went bad). Personally, I wouldn't bother unless you need to replace the bearings anyways.  Then you might as well go with the SpeedyMoto ones.
