WHAT?  You sold them for 350 shipped, and now you want an additional 50 for not having to ship them?   Roll Eyes

charity, son... I'm trying to help save a make the beast with two backsing life.

if I were selfish, i'd have kept the damn things and put them on my bike.

I'd have done 300 local... but since he already sent me the funds, i'm honoring the agreement. if I could get more money to help des, that would change my mind, even if it is unreasonable to the rest of you

I hear ya, and as admirable as that is, that particular mileage only goes so far with others.

why the hell do y'all think I was posting my bike FS?

5k is certainly no ROI for what went into it... I know that much.

Dammit, I was checking my available funds this morning so I could buy them, but the deal's already been made. (looks at SMS from Ben) Wait! there might be hope!

There is always hope my young padawan learner.  At least there is when talking about motorcycles.

There are only two things that are holding me back...  1) I have gotten spoiled by rwd sport(y) cars and 2) I REALLY don't want to sell the S2000...

You drive a honda? and you admit? you poor poor man... well at least your ducati makes up for the points lost with the honda even if it is a S2K. now have you ever driven a twin turbo Z?  bow down nothing like a few simple bolt ons to push out over 400hp, with 4 wheel steering, and a nice close ratio 5speed to really play in the twisties.

damn i miss my car Cry

I have no problem admitting that I drive a Honda, simply because the S2000 is only eclipsed by a CaymanS in the fun department (while staying under $70k).  Have you ever taken one through a seriously twisty road at full song?

well in all honesty no, i never driven one. however i have raced them on many occasions in time attacks as well as drag strips, and the only ones that could beat me were the full race tuned cars that were gutted and no longer street legal. (but i think that has more to do with them being a better driver then i am laughingdp)  i do hear though that they are similar to the NSX in the sense that they are very nimble and have amazing handling with their 50/50 weight distribution... so i guess its still a decent grocery getter when its raining or even a great lil car for your wiffee Grin
but 240hp at the crank... well i guess its a start
hahahahaha

These things were never intended to be particularly fast and I will freely admit that there are MANY cars that will blow my doors off, especially at a drag type event.  The deal with these cars is that they are exceptionally well balanced and you can flick the hell out of them when the turns get tight.  Can't think of many Z's that could keep up with one on a tight and twisty road (given that both drivers are of the same skill).

Ok, you got me there.  The Elise is a better handling car.  Sure helps that the thing only weights 22 pounds!  But they are held together with glue!   Grin

Wow, and I was afraid my "I don't really love the look of the GTI" comment would be taken as hating.  You guys are vicious.

I like your Honda, Ben, and it will spin stupidly tight, accurate circles around anything I own.

I LOVE the Honda, so no worries.  But more importantly, what's for dinner?
