I can neither confirm nor deny the existence of any ammunition which may or may not be loaded into any magazine.

Depends on how you look at it.  Figuratively?  Sure, or at least close enough.  Literally, nosir.  This one is a Knights Armament SR-15 E3, which is a semi-auto carbine.  It has a 16" medium contour barrel and mid-length gas tube where a true M4 would have a 14.5" heavy barrel with cut-outs to mount an M203 40mm grenade launcher and a carbine length gas system.  Also, all of the KAC's controls are ambidextrous, which works out well for me seeing how I shoot long guns left-handed.  Other than that, a lot of parts are interchangeable between this and an M4rgery (slang term for civilian spec M4); the pistol grip, light and magazines are the same ones that I had (i.e. my personal stuff) on the M4 that I carried in Afghanistan.
