while i was waiting i walked over to SSD just to look around. saw the white 848 evo in person and really dont care for the red rims and the flat white paint.
When I first saw pictures in mags and on the web I thought it might look pretty good. Not so much in real life I agree.
As for the 2010 848 that yellow brown from the fuel cap could be due to overfilling the tank and letting it sit.

Took a ride to visit the snake this morning, ain't it great how crisp petrol powered vehicles run in cool, dense air...
Also visited SSD...my replacement tank is in, just need to make the appointment...

If this is a euro spec (non-U.S) E36M3 with the SMG (sequential manual gearbox), I would stay away from it as it's known to have lot's of problems...if it's an E36M3 with the regular automatic tranny, it's not going to be anywhere near as much fun as a 5-speed, whether it has 2 doors or 4...the handling will be there, but the fun factor will be in short supply.

if it has the SMG I would be wary, unless you get clean bill of health via a PPI (pre purchase inspection)...

it's a second owner vehicle, only dealer serviced, except tires ... plus with the KTS I was able to see into it ... no issues except need to replace tranny fluid ...
just want to be sure I can carry my boss, my boss' boss and when alone have some fun ... Vehicle still has OEM wheels, and 3rd set of tires ... 1st owner was 45 when he bought it new, second owner has had car for 7 years and is 52yrs ... both say they never have gone into redline ...

Might be a deal then, if it has been well maintained...

If functioning properly, the SMG should be loads more fun than a regualar auto tranny...

I don't know why, but I was thinking that they didn't debut the SMG until the E46 cars. Regardless though, the Euro E36 Ms had that nice head on them.

Yup, 6 throttle bodies versus one, variable valve timing on both cams, higher redline, higher compression ratio, aluminum door skins and nearly 80 more HP...

Stay away from SMG. Stay very far away. That is unless, of course, you have more money than sense and you bring it to me to fix.
