No worries. Nothing much happened at the shop. Not really enough time there to do much.

Less than 2 months I've owned my bike and it got around to washing it today. Already put 2K on the odometer. I really, really love this bike. Next thing is to get drunk and get my Ducati tattoo. I'll get it near my Village Drunk tatto I got when I was drunk at the East Atlanta Stut this year.

Proposed Sat shop agenda:

More 620 tear down --- side cases off --- maybe heads and barrels off ---- If anyone wants to see how a 2 valve desmo works, how to check valve clearances then this may be the time.

Will also be checking valve clearances on a 4 valve engine.

BTW, that's a nice looking bike in the above picture. Kind of reminds me of my old one. Funny what you notice in a picture after it's taken and not while you're taking it. Looks like the engine is leaking oil like crazy!!   Grin

Boring day at work...but found out I'll be in San Diego for a wk after Turkey day.   chug  It was good to see Gene at SSC for a bit while on the way home.  I'm I'm not completely wiped out after my morning dive, I'll stop by BME to observe the Jedi master working his magic.  I ran across this Ducati video, narrated by Marinelli, talking about the different aspects of the 1199 design.

Ducati 1199 Panigale - Troy Bayliss and Marinelli on the Mugello track!

When I first saw the MSRP for the three models of the bike I thought it was a bit much, now it seems like a hell of a deal.   drool

I know this is all said in a good sense but, please, I am no master and I work no magic. I don't mind sharing some small stuff that I know but I know little. I work on expanding the knowledge but it is far from complete and there are holes everywhere. Don't make anything more than it is.

OTOH, Gloria just turned my morning around . I have no clear idea when I will be at the shop.
