Ran into a guy who wanted to sell me a set of Riviera wheels for the Beetle. a hundred bucks. I bought 'em. Talked to four guys at once about the Interschleptor. Sold it. Ate a pizza.

whew! buyer just called back, I was worried he was going to try to back out, and I was going to have to be an ass and tell him I was keeping his deposit. Nope, he just wants to move the pick-up up a day. Sweet!

Congrats my man!! And I didn't even know you had a beetle. Is it an older or a newer one? Up until recently I had a moderately modified '72 beetle that was stored in a building behind my parent's house. Too bad my pops sold it without letting me know...

I'd trade it for a ghia droptop. Yup I would.
So, the dude that sold me the wheels has a 2 sliding door van, another van that he made into a trailer, and a SWEEEEEET combi that he's selling before he moves to Vegas. I asked about the combi. 16k. Eep.

GOOO!!!!! Must resist! Did you see that there was an air cooled swap meet at that elementary school near Pearl Ridge this last Sunday? There were all kinds of nice looking VWs down there.

Yeah, he told me about it. Apparently it runs quarterly, and he gave away a bunch of parts. Damn!
