Sounds like everything worked out for you two.  Good to hear that but bummer that you went through it in the first place.  As for H3 I have one tip. Since getting a huge puncture up there I never, but never, ride close to the outside of either lane if I can possibly help it. If you are ever behind me there you will see that I will even come out of formation to avoid the outer edges.  Just saying...........    Dolph

Long day...but we had a fantastic time.  Started with an early AM ride w/ Brandon, enjoyed breakfast w/ Jing and Kerry, went to the airshow, watched motoGP w/ out Teresa spilling any spoilers (while Brandon slumped into a power-nap) , followed by dinner/drinks at the Hilton.  I'm exhausted and slightly sun-baked!

My M900 has been running rough intermittently as of late....so I stopped by to see Rick, and diagnose the charging system... the coil's ( which are original )
turns out charging system is OK.   waytogo

Thanks again Rick!!

You're welcome F.   BTW it's the ignition system not the charging system and I think you should go for the coils.   Grin

Coils get hot and fail. The wires just connect things.  I'd go the whole route for sure.   waytogo   Dolph

EDIT:  I just had a look at the CA Cycleworks ExactFit hi power coils.  Be advised that if these are exactly as pictured they WILL REQUIRE mounting modification to fit on your bike.  If they are exactly as pictured they will also require electrical connection modifications as well.  This is true even if Chris lists these coils as being replacement parts for the '93 to '99 Monster 900.    Nevertheless I still think your problem may be with the old coils you have on the bike.   Just saying..............

Picked up the clutch slave parts for the R1100S today and went to Gloria's family reunion. 500+ people there. Now to figure out whether or not to fix a bike, a car or a house tomorrow. Or drink beer and watch racing.  Evil

Checking out now until early AM tomorrow when I'll be doing a pre-dawn patrol here at SB before I head over to do laundry.   coffee

Beer and racing sound like a winning combo.  Is anyone doing the JJ ride tomorrow?

Actually I was referring to MotoGP at Motegi.  The Korea F1 was pretty good on the last few laps that I saw.  I was going around and around with Oceanic cable again last night.  Lost all my HD and couldn't even get regular channel Speed but got that fixed.  I hope. Haven't checked the recorder this morning.

Doubtful on the JJ ride.  This is going to be a maintenance day.  Got a rear flat on the Seven to fix now too. Happened only a half mile from home so it wasn't too bad. Gee, first time on a bicycle in months and flatted. Sounds about right.  Roll Eyes

Sorry to hear about the roadbike...kind of dampens the mood of the ride.  Let me know if you need a hand with any after-hours maintenance work in the shop.  I took this week off to look after Teresa...plus I needed a mental "brake" from the office!
