Are you running clinchers or tubulars on the seven?

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Clinchers.

Sorry to hear about the roadbike...kind of dampens the mood of the ride.  Let me know if you need a hand with any after-hours maintenance work in the shop.  I took this week off to look after Teresa...plus I needed a mental brake from the office!

Thanks for the thoughts. Actually the short walk along Norfolk was kind of nice. Late in the day & cool. Got to check out some different lines through some of the corners that I'll have to try. The Beemer is stuck at home with a leaky clutch. I'll have to tough it out there and won't be doing any motorcycle stuff at the shop for a few weeks at least. Got car stuff lined up ahead of bike stuff.

Rode the SF today for the first time since having a new rear tire installed.  Went north where the Snake was blocked off by Solo bike officers top & bottom, as well as cane road on the south end...what a bummer, the only consolation was the thumbs up I got from the two Solo bike officers blocking cane road as I rode by...

Why was Snake blocked off?

Always gotta remember what a nasty road that is.  Everyone is your enemy all of the time coming & going.

Did Tantalus this morning.  It was dry, clean and unobstructed by cagers...unfortunately my last three rides of note have been aboard a Gixxer 1K and I wasn't in sync enough with the SF to take advantage of the great conditions, plus I was wanting for a good lead man... Sad

If anyone is stuck downtown/Waikiki tonight and stuck-trying to evacuate due to the tsunami warning...give me a call.  We are in Waikiki, but on the 23 floor... 2O2   33O 1495.

Cheers,

Dropped the SF off at SSD for the 22.5K mile service this morning...also having flow matched injectors installed.

While there I met Preston the newly trained tech who will be working on my bike...Shawn says he is the meticulous type... waytogo

Per Shawn, Eddie is in Florida for training which includes race track laps on an 1199... Shocked
